Matrix Biolage Deep Smoothing Shampoo Review

I have greatly frizzy, unruly and curly hair. Whenever I wash my hair, it becomes frizzy and uncontrollable. I wanted to take my hands on the matrix range particularly the hydrotherapy. But in the market, I found this one and considered “just what my hair requires” and pulled up this one rather. It also was paraben-free so everything the more mind for me to try it! Read on to see if this were up to its claim.

Matrix Biolage Shampoo

What prepares the website claim? Smooththérapie – softens frizzy, unruly, common to coarse hair with the silky serum of Camellia perennial seed to continuously measure frizz in hot, humid periods while replenishing hair’s drizzle during dry cool periods. Hair stays naturally smooth, even in up to 97% moisture*.(*way of shampoo, the conditioner also serum.)
Cleans as it smooths and improves control frizz with lightweight nurture for glossy shine, smoothness and manageability.

Ways to use Wet hair and foam with a gentle massaging act. Wash. Follow with Biolage Deep smoothing conditioner.

I was dubious about this series as it says “*system of shampoo, conditioner and serum.” So it suggests I should apply the shampoo, conditioner and the serum mutually to actually get the outcome! But I did not care that as all I needed was something to tame my hair. I wanted to take all the three results, but the serum was outside of stock. So I took the shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo gets in a usual matrix white jar with a flip cap. The cap is much tight and travel-friendly! The shampoo is clear and is very thick. It has a delightful mild citrusy smell, which I guess is the scent of Camellia flower. It creates a good lather and cleans my hair effectively (even later oiling my hair and applying. If you want to know how to take care of coloured hair properly). And that is all it does! It absolutely does nothing to manage the frizz and get my hair soft. I used this with the matching conditioner first to see its impact. Not enough at all. My hair was not smooth or was not moisturized. My hair seemed ok only after applying Loreal shine intense serum which I am doing right now. But I do this with all my shampoos. This does not reduce brassiness from my hair at all! And next I used this shampoo with different conditioner (organic surge) and my hair underwent one of the most damaging flyaways and frizz ever! I was not able to manage the frizz even by the serum. This shampoo is a complete failure for me. (Maybe it will go for less common or wavy hair.)

Pros of matrix biolage deep smoothing shampoo:

1. It does not include paraben.
2. It has a mild citrus scent which is unusual.
3. It is cheap and the size is good for the value.

Cons of matrix biolage deep smoothing shampoo:

1. Does not manage frizz and makes not help in maintaining my hair.
2. Has SLS.
3. Does my hair very dry and frizzy when I apply a conditioner other than matrix deep smoothing.
4. It has to be supported by the matching conditioner plus serum to this product to work.
5. Not simply available in stores. Can be bought only from professional showrooms.
